Recently in the media center . . .

Fourth graders have reviewed reference materials and used Photo Story to help them with the review.

First graders in Ms. Cantlebary's class are displaying their projects. They are also creating a story with the iPads to share information about their work.

Kindergarten students are using the Story Creator app to take digital pictures and create a story. Their story reviews what happens in the media center.

February 2014 Statistics

Because of some more inclement weather, students only attended school for 15 days in February. Thirty classes met with Mrs. King for instruction, approximately 1450 students visited the media center independently, and almost 3000 items were checked out. Students also received the books that they had created from Student Treasures, Black History Month was celebrated, and everyone enjoyed a mid-winter break that included Winter Olympics.
